British International School Hanoi is looking to appoint a Head of Performing Arts to join our talented and dedicated team of leaders and educators from August 2027.

Purpose of the role
• To lead and provide day-to-day management and organisation of all aspects of the Performing Arts provision in the school.
• As a key middle leader, the post-holder will have a strategic vision for, and raise standards in, Performing Arts provision both within the formal academic curriculum and the whole-school and co-curricular provision
• Have a vision for excellence in the Performing Arts provision and set high standards for all
• Maintain positive partnerships through our close collaboration with Juilliard to ensure high quality classroom practice and professional development opportunities for members of the team.
• Encourage a culture of collaboration, risk-taking, and support within the team, and promote a shared vision.
• Lead, support, and hold team members accountable for delivering consistently high standards of teaching, learning, and professional conduct.
• Lead the ongoing development of the curriculum, teaching and learning standards, and departmental resources.

• Experience as a Head of Performing Arts or as a Head of Department is desirable.
