Teacher of Biology
British International School Hanoi is looking to appoint a Teacher of Biology, to join our talented and dedicated team of educators from August 2027.

The role
• The Science Faculty at BIS is a rich and rewarding environment to work for creative, inspiring teachers who are ambitious for their students.
• The team consists of forward-thinking, collaborative, and highly motivated teachers who work together to deliver high quality learning experiences that develop students' skills in scientific enquiry while deepening their acquisition of knowledge.
• In Years 7-8, students learn through a rich inquiry-based curriculum based on the Exploring Science International scheme of work and enhanced with an investigation-skills focus that has been developed in-house. In Years 9-11, students take the Cambridge IGCSEs; either the Coordinated Science course or all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) as separate courses.
• In Years 12-13, students choose either one or two subjects at Standard or Higher Level in the IBDP. Many elect to take two science subjects. Subjects we offer include Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS) is also taught and falls under the leadership of our ESS Coordinator in the Humanities department – there may be the opportunity to teach this in the future. We also offer a variety of science extra-curricular activities to enhance the opportunities for our students.
